These terms govern your use of the Troots AI platform. Please read them carefully before using our services.

Acceptance of Terms
Agreement to terms
By accessing or using the Troots AI platform — including our survey tools, analytics dashboard, and any associated APIs — you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use our services.
Business accounts
These terms apply to businesses and organisations that register for a Troots AI account. By accepting on behalf of a company, you represent that you have the authority to bind that company to these terms.
Description of Service
What we provide
Troots AI provides an intelligent customer feedback platform that enables businesses to deploy adaptive surveys, collect sentiment data, and access AI-powered analytics. Features and availability may vary by subscription plan.
Service modifications
We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the service with reasonable notice. We will not be liable for any modification, suspension, or discontinuation of the service.
Accounts and Registration
Account responsibility
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us immediately at security@trootsai.com if you suspect any unauthorised use.
Accurate information
You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration and to keep your account information updated. Accounts created with false information may be terminated.
One account per business
Each business entity may maintain one primary account. Sub-accounts for team members may be created within your plan limits. Sharing account credentials with unauthorised parties is prohibited.
Subscription and Billing
Subscription plans
Access to Troots AI is provided on a subscription basis. Plan details, pricing, and included features are set out on our pricing page and may be updated with 30 days' notice to active subscribers.
Payment
Subscription fees are billed in advance on a monthly or annual basis. All fees are non-refundable except where required by applicable law or expressly stated in writing by Troots AI.
Late payment
If payment is not received by the due date, we reserve the right to suspend access to your account until the outstanding balance is settled.
Acceptable Use
Permitted use
You may use Troots AI solely for lawful business purposes consistent with these terms and all applicable laws and regulations in your jurisdiction.
Prohibited conduct
You must not use the platform to collect data without proper consent from survey respondents, distribute spam or unsolicited communications, attempt to reverse-engineer or circumvent the platform's security, or engage in any fraudulent or deceptive conduct.
Survey content
You are solely responsible for the content of surveys deployed through our platform. Survey content must not be discriminatory, harassing, defamatory, or in violation of any applicable laws.
Intellectual Property
Our IP
The Troots AI platform, including its software, design, trademarks, and all underlying technology, is owned by Troots AI and protected by intellectual property laws. Nothing in these terms grants you any ownership rights in our platform.
Your data
You retain full ownership of all survey data, customer responses, and content you upload to or generate through the platform. You grant Troots AI a limited licence to process this data solely to provide the service.
Feedback
If you provide suggestions or feedback about the platform, you grant us a perpetual, royalty-free licence to use that feedback to improve our services without any obligation to you.
Data and Privacy
Data processing
Our handling of personal data is governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these terms by reference. By using the platform, you agree to our data practices as described therein.
Data protection compliance
You are responsible for ensuring your use of Troots AI complies with applicable data protection laws, including obtaining valid consent from your customers before collecting their feedback.
Limitation of Liability
Disclaimer of warranties
The Troots AI platform is provided on an 'as is' and 'as available' basis. We make no warranties, express or implied, regarding the reliability, accuracy, or fitness for a particular purpose of the service.
Liability cap
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Troots AI's total liability to you for any claim arising from these terms or your use of the platform shall not exceed the fees paid by you in the three months preceding the claim.
Excluded losses
We shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, including loss of revenue, loss of data, or loss of business opportunity, even if advised of the possibility of such losses.
Term and Termination
Term
These terms remain in effect for the duration of your subscription and any period during which you access the platform.
Termination by you
You may cancel your subscription at any time through your account settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period.
Termination by us
We may suspend or terminate your account immediately if you materially breach these terms, engage in illegal activity, or fail to pay subscription fees after a reasonable grace period.
Governing Law
Applicable law
These Terms of Service shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Sri Lanka, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Sri Lanka.
